Math Definitions - Letter U
Chapters
Unequal
Definition of Unequal
Two numbers are unequal if they are not equal to each other.
For example, the numbers \(23\) and \(17\) are unequal. We write \(23 \neq 17\).
If two numbers are unequal, one is less than the other, and the other one is greater than the first one. In our example, \(17\) is less than \(23\), and \(23\) is greater than \(17\).
