Definition of Acre

Definition of Acre

An acre is an Imperial unit of area that is usually used to measure land.

Using Imperial units again, \(1 \text{ acre} = 4,840 \text{ square yards}\).

Need a translation to metric? I know I do. A yard is about \(90 cm\), and an acre is about \(0.4 \text{ hectares}\).
