Definition of Even Number
An even number is an integer that has \(2\) as a factor.
All integers are either even numbers or odd numbers.
For example, \(-16, -12,0,36\) and \(32,154\) are even numbers. \(-17,-15,-1, 3\) and \(243\) are odd.
Even numbers always end in \(0,2,4,6 \) or \(8\).
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms. Students learn a new math skill every week at school, sometimes just before they start a new skill, if they want to look at what a specific term means, this is where this dictionary will become handy and a go-to guide for a student.
