Definition of Event
An event is a possible outcome of an experiment.
For example,
- Rolling a double with two dice.
- A coin landing on heads when it is tossed.
- Choosing a green ball out of a bag containing blue, red, yellow and green balls.
- Winning a game of monopoly.
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
