Definition of Frustum
An frustum is the stump of a cone or pyramid that has been cut off, parallel to its base.
The frustum lies between two parallel planes. The area of its top is smaller than the area of its bottom.
Frustums can sometimes be formed from solids other than pyramids and cones, but they are most frequently formed from pyramids and cones.
