Tessellation
Definition of Tessellation
A tessellation is a pattern formed by repeating a group of one or more shapes over and over again.
There are two rules that the pattern must follow:
- There cannot be any gaps between the shapes.
- The shapes cannot overlap
The tessellation in the picture is made out of one shape: a triangle-like shape with wavy edges.
