Definition of Radius
The radius of a circle is the length of any line segment joining its centre to its circumference.
It has the same length as half of the diameter.
Sometimes we use radius to refer to any line segment joining the centre of the circle to its circumference. There are infinitely many such line segments for any circle.
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
