Definition of Rigid
A Rigid shape is a shape that can't be turned into a different shape by pushing on its edges.
The triangle is the only rigid polygon.
The shapes used in building the house frame in the picture have been reinforced with cross bars, so that they are rigid enough to support the roof of the house.
Description
