Set
Definition of Set
A set is a collection of objects that satisfies a rule.
The members of a set are called elements of the set.
Each member is only written down once in the set.
For example, in the set of animals shown here, there are four elements: a cow, an elephant, a frog and a duck.
The collection of counting numbers that are greater than \(3\), but less than \(7\) contains the three elements \(\{4,5,6\}\).
