Definition of Calculator
A calculator is usually a small hand-held device, which is used for doing mathematical calculations.
However, you can find increasing numbers of more complex programs on the internet that will perform complicated calculations. These are also called calculators. So, a calculator can also be a computer program. Of course, your hand-held calculator is also a computer that runs programs. It just isn't as powerful as the computer you use to search the internet.
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms. Students learn a new math skill every week at school, sometimes just before they start a new skill, if they want to look at what a specific term means, this is where this dictionary will become handy and a go-to guide for a student.
