Definition of Complementary Angles
Complementary angles are angles that add up to \(90^\circ\).
Complementary angles need not be adjacent.
For example, \(40^\circ\) and \(50^\circ\) are complementary angles as are \(17^\circ\) and \(73^\circ\).
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
