Definition of Centroid
The centroid of an object is its centre of mass. It is the point where all the weight of an object appears to act.
For example, if you printed the picture of the trapezium on the left and then cut it out, you would be able to balance it on a needle placed exactly at the point marked as its centroid.
One way to find the centroid is to take the average of the coordinates of all points in the object.
Description
