Definition of Counterclockwise
Counterclockwise is an American term used to refer to rotation in the opposite direction to the hands of a clock.
We call it "anticlockwise".
We usually measure angles in a counterclockwise direction, and turn taps on by turning their handles in a counterclockwise direction.
Description
