Definition of Closed Curve
A closed curve is a curve with ends that join together, leaving no dangling end points.
Circles and ellipses are common examples of closed curves.
If you place your pencil on the paper and draw a curve, only lifting your pencil when you get back to where you started, you get a closed curve.
