Definition of Convex
A shape is convex if it curves outwards only. If you draw a line between any two points inside a convex shape, it will always stay inside the shape.
For example, straight-sided figure (polygons) are convex when they have no indentations (places where the internal angle is greater than \(180^\circ\)).
